On the evening of Thursday 2nd June a specially written song is due to be sung around the Commonwealth and beacons lit to mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee. Join us at StJohn’s Churchyard, on Thursday 2nd June 2022 from 8:30pm onwards for community singing, socialising and fevered expectation of the moment (9:45pm) when:

– local choirs will join to sing the song!

– a beacon will be lit!

A possible appearance of a locally-constructued sustainable beacon. You are encouraged to bring your own food and rink, so you can celebrate in the traditional style.
