As part of the Now I Make a Leaf of Voices sculpture exhibition at the Waterloo Festival 2026, held in the churchyard garden of St John’s, members of the Creative Writing Club have collaborated with artists from The London Group to produce new writing in response to the artworks installed.
The writers, led by poet Anna Robinson, developed their work over the course of spring 2026, using sketches, drawings, and photographs provided by the sculptors as inspiration. The exhibition, curated by Stathis Dimitriadis and Paul Bonomini, was installed in early July and runs until 6 September 2026.
As part of the Opening Night of Waterloo Festival 2026, members of the Bridge at Waterloo’s Creative Writing Club shared their work in a relaxed poetry recital across St John’s churchyard, presenting their pieces alongside the artworks that inspired them.
