Our main service of the week is at 10.30am every Sunday and lasts just over an hour. We worship in the liberal anglo-Catholic tradition, using liturgy from Common Worship, often adapted to emphasise our desire to welcome all God’s people. Our congregation is very diverse in every way, and we have a lovely mixture of people who’ve been coming to St John’s for decades, people passing through, and everything in between. We hope that whether you can join us for one week or many years you will feel very welcome.

We sing traditional and modern hymns supported by our choir. There are activity bags for younger children, and we have a children’s church session on the first Sunday of every month for young people from about 8 to 15. We have tea, coffee and cake or biscuits afterwards.
